This Privacy Policy explains how Go IELTS ("we", "our"), available at ielts.speakmi.com, handles information when you use the website. Go IELTS is a free IELTS practice and learning website. We designed it to work without accounts and without collecting personal data.
Information we do not collect
We do not ask you to register, and we do not collect your name, email address, payment details or any other personal information through the website. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers. Answers you type into the Writing and Speaking practice boxes stay in your browser and are not sent to our servers.
Information stored on your device
To remember your progress, the site uses your browser's local storage. It saves your chosen language, your XP and level, and simple counters showing which question types you answer incorrectly, so we can show relevant tips. This data stays on your device. We cannot see it, and you can delete it at any time by clearing your browser data for this site. We do not set cookies ourselves.
Server logs
Like most websites, the web server that hosts Go IELTS may automatically record technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested pages and time of access. Hosting providers use these logs for security and operation. We do not use them to identify individual visitors.
Third-party services
Google Fonts. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests them, Google receives technical information such as your IP address. See Google's privacy policy for details.
Ko-fi. Our donation buttons link to Ko-fi, an independent service. If you choose to donate, you leave our site and your payment information is handled by Ko-fi and its payment processors under their own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive or store your card details.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites that we link to.
Children
Go IELTS is intended for general learners and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Because we do not collect personal data, there is none to delete, but if you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, or privacy laws in other countries), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data held about you. Since we do not collect personal data through this site, the main control is yours: clear your browser's stored data for this site whenever you wish.

Go IELTS is an independent practice resource. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by IELTS, the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia or Cambridge University Press & Assessment. IELTS is a trademark of its respective owners. Practice questions on this site are original and written for learning; they are not official test materials and do not guarantee any test result.
